Kimsey Hollifield is the Founder and President of Hollifield Financial Group, a boutique wealth management firm dedicated to guiding clients through retirement with personalized financial strategies. With nearly two decades in the industry, Kimsey has built a reputation for innovative financial planning and forward-thinking investment strategies.
Starting his career in financial services at a young age, Kimsey quickly rose to become the youngest General Manager of the largest senior insurance agency in the country. At 25, he launched Hollifield Financial Group, growing it into a premier advisory firm that now manages over $150 million in assets for hundreds of families. His firm focuses on a holistic approach to wealth management, helping clients navigate investments, retirement planning, and long-term financial security.
Beyond Hollifield Financial Group, Kimsey has been deeply involved in financial education and industry leadership. He has conducted nearly 100 financial education events across multiple states and frequently shares his insights through media interviews, including Financial Advisor Magazine and television appearances on Retirement This Week. His expertise has also been featured in ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, Charleston Grit, and Mount Pleasant Magazine.
Kimsey’s passion for innovation extends to his investments, including his role as an early investor in Waterlily, an AI-driven long-term care planning company. He also serves on the AI advisory board of a leading financial industry marketing company, contributing to the development of cutting-edge financial technology solutions.
Committed to giving back, Kimsey and his team created the HFG Giving Fund, which allocates 10% of company profits to charitable causes in accordance with biblical principles. Through this initiative, HFG supports numerous charities, ensuring their success translates into meaningful impact for those in need.
Outside of finance, Kimsey is actively involved in his hometown of Summerville, SC, serving on the Board of Architectural Review, where he helps preserve the town’s historic and aesthetic character.
He and his wife, Lorna, have been married for 17 years and share a wonderful life with their daughter, Allyn. They split their time between downtown Summerville and Edisto Island, enjoying the Lowcountry lifestyle.
